ABSTRACT
The objective of this study was to analyze the lessons to be learned from the decision making process as perceived by the different actors involved, regarding the safety of the HSL-South railway project. To evaluate a more generic applicability of the approach for other projects, questions were raised about a theoretical justification and potential to improve the transparency and structure of the process and to develop a prototype for future generic application.
