ABSTRACT
This paper deals with a hazard zonation technique and its assessment. Hazard factors and elements are analyzed that influence the karst hazard and methods for hazard mapping are discussed. From the detailed field survey and statistical analysis, 4 main hazard factors are selected. The composite hazard map of regional area is aimed at planners and developers as a multipurpose map for general use. In addition, cross-sectional hazard assessment and its profile give an appropriate information for rock mass classification.
