Appropriate laboratory compaction methods for different types of Roller Compacted Concrete (RCC)

Various methods have been used to make Roller Compacted Concrete (RCC) test specimens for

quality control and mix designs. Some of these are suitable to one type of RCC while others are more suitable to other types of RCC. In the end, whatever procedure is used should replicate the degree of compaction achieved with field equipment, usually a 10 ton vibratory roller.
