ABSTRACT
Dachaoshan hydropower station is located in Yunnan province, China. In RCC mix, a new admixture, made of phosphor-slag and tuff, is used. RCC is placed on the upstream and downstream overflowing cofferdams and dambody etc. For the station, some special design and constructing methods have adopted, such as: admixture, shape of arch cofferdam, continuous RCC placing, stepped spillway face of overflow dam. All of these structures had been put into use and achieved the design purpose.
