ABSTRACT
A computer model has been presented to simulate the operation of the shovels and trucks in surface mines. In order to run this system, the selection and estimation of trucks and shovels cycle components is of paramount importance. Trucks data was collected from an operating mine through a real time equipment performance monitoring system and used in simulation modelling.
