ABSTRACT
The measurement of mine haulroad rolling resistances is difficult to achieve with direct pull tests and it is also expensive. However the economics of of a mine can be significantly affected by rolling resistances of the mine roads since they directly affect the productivity of the haulage fleet.
This paper describes a trailer that can be towed behind a small trucK that can accurately measure rolling resistances using a computer data acquisition system.
