ABSTRACT
Following radiocarbon dating studies of the Turin Shroud in 1988, it is generally held that that the Shroud dates back only to 1260–1390. However, a fascinating study by Leoncio Garza-Valdes and Stephen Mattingly of the University of Texas Health Sciences Center at San Antonio now casts doubt on these findings.
