ABSTRACT
These paintings (and also that of Surgical Instruments) were discovered on a wall of the tomb of Ptah-Hotep, a physician who died in 2340 bc and was buried in Saqqara, Egypt, near the famous step pyramid of Zoser—the first Egyptian pyramid to be built (around 2780 bc) which is older than the three famous pyramids and sphinx at Giza.
