ABSTRACT
The University of Manchester's eminent physicist Sir Arthur Schuster (1851–1934) had wide-ranging interests in physics and applied mathematics; he carried on a world-wide correspondence with other scientists. He amassed a remarkable collection of reprints of scientific papers. Many were autographed and many contained marginal queries and comments which would be valuable to a historian of this period of exciting development in physics.
