ABSTRACT
Johann Palisa (1848–1925), an Austrian astronomer, was an exceedingly successful discoverer of minor planets, having found 121 of these objects during his lifetime. It is the discoverer's prerogative to name the planetoid, and so it must have been challenging for Palisa to find names for all of his discoveries.
