ABSTRACT
In this paper, the relations among electric resistivity, porosity and degree of saturation of various rock specimens investigated by laboratory tests, are compared with the field measurement data obtained by electric prospecting. In addition, it is tried that these results obtained laboratory test are applied on tunnel supporting design, and that using this relations, the rock masses around existing tunnel were estimated. As the results, it is recognized that this assessment method can be used on tunnel supporting design.
