ABSTRACT
There are two main types of chromite ores in Bulqiza area from mineral processing point of view. Several studies were carried out and it was concluded that: The coarse particle size of first type must be treated in HMS, while fraction −12 mm, after grinding to −1,2 mm, must be enriched in Spiral Separators. Second type, after grinding in two steps, is treated in Spiral Separators and Dyplex Separators or WMS. In the paper, measures taken to improve the process and technological scheme as well as the results obtained are presented.
