ABSTRACT
The Cavity Monitoring System (CMS) developed by Noranda Technology Centre (NTC) jointly with Optech Systems, Canada, has become one of the basic tools used by underground mine surveyors to determine the extend and progress of mining in an open stope environment. In this paper authors focus on the utilisation of CMS for determination of ore dilution and ore lose. The experiences gained from surveys and data processing are presented.
