ABSTRACT
The paper aims to analyze the causes of some potential ecological risks as a result of the uranif-erous deposits exploitation mining activity in E.M.Banat, Romania as well as those related to the ceasing of this activity. Not to be taken as a risk study, the paper identifies the risk factors and proposes the counteracting adequate measures. Also we presents ways to diminish the contamination effects of the environment both and there are not neglected the economical aspects of the environment evaluation.
