ABSTRACT
An increasing the roof rock stability with frictional pipe anchor TFA (invented in Bulgaria) by room and pillar extraction is considered in the paper. A method is proposed for analyzing and designing the frictional rock bolting by room and pillar mining. Rock bolting effects are analyzed by application of frictional and resin grouted rock bolts acting along whole anchor length at this conditions.
