ABSTRACT
The paper describes the main characteristics of the gravitational phenomena and the failures affecting the slope and urban area that up to now was considered relatively stable. The recent more intense precipitation events are analysed and correlated to the lithotechnical and the geometry of the thickness of the weathered terrains. The aim is to evaluate the mechanism of the landsliding and the susceptibility to occur of new phenomena, indicating the criteria of remedial measures in this specific environmental situations.
