ABSTRACT

The research of silicified sandstone blocks at the foothill of fault slope has been done to check the theory of influence of brown coal mining to the evolution of surface deformation at this locality. Dendrogeomorphological analysis was the method used for research. It has been done at the background of geomorphological investigations of broader surrounding with respect to the engineering geological setting. Additionally we tried to take into account the other influences to the past and recent geomorphological and geological processes, which could have affected this locality in the past.
