ABSTRACT
A typical computerized literature search using the key word “microemulsion” would return more than 1000 references per year in the past decade. It is thus obvious that everything known on microemulsions cannot be said within a reasonable number of pages and that a selection must be made according to a criterion that depends not only on the importance of the subject or the reviewed research but also on the authors’ choice.
