ABSTRACT

The viscosity is the physical property that characterizes the flow resistance of simple fluids. It is defined in Newton’s law of viscosity as the constant proportionality. The equations of continuity and momentum are derived by applying the principles of conservation of mass and momentum, respectively. Likewise, the law of conservation of energy is employed to obtain the equation of energy. Consider a stationary volume element through which a fluid is flowing. Infrared vision, namely, infrared thermography, is a process used to produce the thermal image of a body surface from which a heat flow situation on the surface can be visualized. Radiation possesses dual characteristics of both waves and particles photons. All surfaces at a temperature higher than absolute zero radiate heat, called emission. When a radiation beam strikes a surface, reflection, absorption, and transmission occur. A surface is called blackbody, or black surface, if it absorbs all radiation irradiated on it.
