ABSTRACT
A second edition in six sheets of the Tectonic Map of Africa at the scale of 1:5 000 000 is in preparation. A new legend has been prepared, very different of the first edition’s one, because it has to take into account plate tectonic interpretations. Sheets 2 and 3 need contributions from all the earth scientists working on the north-east part of Africa.
