ABSTRACT
Some factors which could influence the stability of mine shafts have been described. A procedure which lets estimate influence from excavation /using back analysis for Budryk-Khothe theory/ and ground water condition around shaft on shaft support stability has been introduced. As an example it has also presented the case of stability analysis for mine shaft in one of the Polish mines.
