ABSTRACT
In recent years numerical models have become an integral part of tunnel design. In this paper a new model of bolt system is described. This model describes the behaviour of bolt system by a special continuous procedure. For the sake of simplicity first we study the elastic behaviour of rock and then the non – linear model is formulated.
