ABSTRACT
a case study is presented of a seismo-tectonic site assessment for a proposed LNG tank farm located in a faulted and seismically active karstic limestone area. The proposed site is located on the Tenka Peninsula on the Island of Krk, Croatia, on the Northern Adriatic Coast. The main risks were identified to be seismic shaking and subsequent potential fault displacements.
