ABSTRACT
Precast frame buildings are used throughout Turkey for industrial facilities. These structural systems are economical to construct and provide large open areas needed for manufacturing. Many precast industrial building collapsed during the recent earthquakes in Turkey. This paper investigates the relationship between structural stiffness and the observed damage.
