ABSTRACT

Shaking table test on a 1:20 model of a typical steel-concrete hybrid structure of tall building was conducted successfully at Tongji University. The dynamic properties, seismic responses and damage features of the model were recorded and analyzed. The behavior of the model subjected to 3-D earthquakes is discussed in detail in this paper, which establishes the base for the earthquake-resistant design and analysis of hybrid structures, and for compiling the design code.
