ABSTRACT
Many studies have documented the use of LM in medical applications. In general, LM technologies for medical applications can be categorized as follows:
• visualisation and surgical planning; • scaffoldings and tissue engineering; • medical devices and drug delivery systems; • customised orthoses and prostheses implant/
replacement.
