ABSTRACT

Compared to traditional teaching methods, multimedia instruction has the advantage of effectively controlling the learning pace. Navigating through the multimedia interface, learners are able to select the sections of their interest as well as opt to skip others sections they deem not as important. Flexible and interactive, multimedia has been selected as a presentation platform for the contents of the book written by Chua, Leong and Lim (Chua et al., 2009) and condensed into a CD-ROM for easy handling. This CD-ROM is the third version and therefore contains remarkable improvements over the previous two (Chua et al., 1997c; Lim et al., 2004b), which were respectively the supplements of the first and second edition of the RP book.
