Failure Mode, Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA) is a systematic process widely used for identifying and evaluating potential failures of mechanical systems, in order to prevent them and minimize the risk associated with unexpected brake down.The traditional FMECA methodology is based on the following steps:
– Collect technical and reliability information about the analyzed system and build a hierarchical structure, dividing the system into subsystems and components.
