ABSTRACT
Depending on the destination of a structure, it is clear that the consequence of a failure (accident) will more or less be accepted. For example, if a nuclear weapon structure fails out of war period this will not be accepted by civil populations, and governments. If an aircraft structure fails, the consequences will not be accepted if this leads to the loss of the aircraft and passengers.
