ABSTRACT
Two important uncertainties in repairable equipments are related to their reliability parameters and to the effect of maintenance activities on the equipment ageing process. Maintenance effectiveness and parameters included in the life time distributions use to be unknown parameters which must be estimated through real data. Then, it seems necessary that any decision making process in these applications must address uncertainties associated to maintenance effectiveness and reliability parameters and their propagation to the objective functions as decision criteria.
