ABSTRACT
In consequence the level of concrete prefabrication in Switzerland is very low by European standard (Fig. 1).
2 STATE OF THE ART
It is state of the art within the European prefabrication industry to use platform-based or system-based mass customized production methods. Not a single prefabrication company in Switzerland uses them. As a result imports of prefabricated concrete elements from other European countries into Switzerland have significantly increased in recent years (Fig. 2).
