ABSTRACT
ABSTRACT: New Jersey Turnpike Authority’s bridge inspection program is evolving to encompass its recently combined inventory of 1,000 bridges on the New Jersey Turnpike and Garden State Parkway, in a challenging and high-usage environment. The article will highlight recent modifications and innovations, and the implementation of a ne w computerized bridge inspection and management database that is capable of handling the diverse structure populations on both roadways.
