ABSTRACT
Figure 1 should demonstrate a response of a horizontal frame reinforced by diagonal bracings, which dissipate the energy. In this case, the respective load is defined by movement of subsoil as well as by movement of the mass placed on the frame, initiating cyclic elasto-plastic strain of diagonals.
