ABSTRACT
Detailed tests and analyses have been conducted for three dampers of different size per damper type, as well as many beam-column-gusset subassemblies. The plan dimension of the 5-story building is 10 m × 12 m, and total height from center line of the foundation beam is 16.3 m. Two bays are considered for each of x-and
y-directions, respectively. Detailed information on the frame is given elsewhere (Kasai et al., 2007).
