ABSTRACT
These experimental results represent the basis of the retrofitting intervention by steel panels on an existing Greek multi-story irregular RC building, which has been developed in the framework of the EC FP6 project PROHITECH. The performed activity, which is presented in this paper, allowed to set-up a proper design methodology for seismic retrofitting purposes and to prove the effectiveness of the proposed system (Formisano et al., 2008).
