The advantage of the webpage based system is that it can be accessed by authorized staff from many places. According to the updated information (year 2008), there are approximately 17,500 bridges over the whole country, in which 45% are slab type bridges, 25% plank girder bridges, 10 % multi-beam bridges, 15% I-girder bridges and 5% box-girder bridges. The age of all bridges varies between 0-60 years.
