ABSTRACT
There is an undeniable urban water challenge regarding inequity in water access and sanitation – a great deal of which has to do with issues of governance. Amongst the challenges for the 21st century is the creation of country-wide sanitation plans/national coordinating bodies and better cooperation between public, non-governmental and private sectors.
