ABSTRACT
A moist tamping system was used to obtain identical soil specimens. The Fredlund SWCC device and the filter paper test were utilized in the experiments. The observed experimental data were used to evaluate previously published mathematical equations for the SWRC. This paper presents the results of the experimental data of the claystone and a proposed equation for the SWRC curve.
