A key characteristic of our current global environment is the rapid rate of change driven primarily by advancements in technology. In this new world, sits the University. Are universities adapting and changing? Some people would say yes and would provide a few examples. Some people would hold the view that universities must remain true to their roots and not change. While others will say that if universities do not change, they will simply cease to exist. This paper is directed at the latter case. Universities need to change and change soon.
