ABSTRACT
Thus, studies on permanent deformation of Brazilian tropical soils remained for some years in a secondary plane of the fatigue studies of asphalt pavements. Studies by Motta (1991), Svenson (1980), Marangon (2004) and Santos (1998), among others should be enhanced.
