ABSTRACT

ABSTRACT: Dynamic calculation of bridges under moving train loads have been used for more than 20 years. The first analysis methods did not take into account, neither the interaction between the bridge and the rolling stock, nor the transverse behaviour, nor the track imperfections.We developed recently all these new aspects. The true interaction between the vehicles and the bridge can been taken into account, both for vertical and horizontalmovements. The track imperfections can be taken into account also. The following results can be obtained: bridge deflection and acceleration, vehicle acceleration, minimum wheel load, derailment coefficient.
