ABSTRACT
Poly-l-lysine is a polymer of varying numbers of lysine residues. Poly-l-lysine with its positive surface charge has been utilized to improve cell adhesion to solid substrates and can also be used for nucleic acid delivery to cells by noncovalently linking to negatively charged DNA phosphate backbones.
