ABSTRACT

Proper diet, regular exercise, and relaxation techniques are proven to have a beneficial effect on leading a healthy life (Sears 1995). Another aspect to living a healthy life is living in a clean environment. When adverse conditions exist in the environment-in the form of air pollution, solid pollution and liquid pollution-the impact on the quality of life can be substantial

(Naar 1990; Pal 1998; Wenzel et al. 1997). The greater the quantity of pollution, the greater the adverse effect on public health. And pollution quantities are staggering.
