I.INTRODUCTION

This document concentrates on the receipt, storage, and distribution of foods and food products in relation to current good manufacturing practice regulations (CGMPRs). Note that the narrative is presented in the teacher-student format and that the active voice is used. The data have been compiled from three major sources:

1. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) documents: Code of Federal Regulations, Current Good Manufacturing Practices (CGMPs), the Food Code, Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) programs

2. U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) documents: Code of Federal Regulations, HACCP programs, inspection manuals, directives, etc.
