ABSTRACT
Let A ⊂ B be an extension of integral domains. Then R = A + XB[X] is called the composite ring of the pair (A, B). This construction has been extensively studied by several authors for its pliability in providing examples and counterexamples. The class group of the composite ring A + XB[X] has been investigated in [4] and [5].
