ABSTRACT
Thomas Roderick [7] coined the term “genomics” in 1986. Genomics describes the study of a genome by molecular means distinct from traditional genetic approaches. The term is derived from genome, a fusion of the words gene and chromosome to describe the complete collection of genes possessed by an organism [8].
