ABSTRACT

Discovery HTRF microplate analyzer (Packard Instrument Company, Meriden, CT) was developed and optimized specifically for the detection of HTRF assays for HTS (Fig. 5). Since no separation occurs between bound and free assay

components, the signals from each individual fluorophore may be distinguished from the signal of the bound pair based on both time and wavelength. The Discovery takes into consideration the following characteristics of HTRF chemistry to make the most efficient and useful measurement.
