ABSTRACT

The PSDR consists of four parallel heads each consisting of 96 dispensers arrayed in the industry-standard 12×8 format (Fig. 6). In operation, the dispensers are filled with chemical compounds to be delivered to assay plates by removing a 96-or 3 84-well master compound plate from the store and transporting it to the PSDR. The plate is robotically placed under a 96-dispenser head and raised so that the microcapillary tips are submerged in the compound solutions.
