ABSTRACT
ABSTRACT: The paper provides an overview of local flood defence measures in the urban environment. The practice and implementation of measures have a long tradition in Europe and they are subject to climate and social conditions. The results of the data collected through a questionnaire among respondents from different countries are also presented.
