It has been a very useful directory for librarians and informationseekers alike due to its comprehensive coverage of the computing literature. The author, Darlene Myers Hildebrandt, Head of the Science Libraries of Washington State University, provides a treasure trove of information. Even though it is outdated, hold on to your editions, since it still provides a good overview of the literature. The directory has listings and descriptions of journals, newsletters, books, dictionaries, indexes, abstracts, software resources, review sources, information on special issues in journals, directories, computer languages, standards, and publishers.
